CIS have been working closely with a London borough framework partner, assessing their draft local plan to support them in their journey to improve building standards and mitigate the ‘Climate Emergency’. CIS have been advising on policy development to reduce emissions, fuel poverty and energy costs in new and redeveloped buildings. The plan sets ambitious targets for new build and retrofit developments and incorporates new carbon offset fund rates to drive building improvements.
